Final of the World Cup : the Malagasy adventure in Brazil keeps going !

On Sunday, the final of the Fifa World Cup 2014 was in Rio and the Bloco Malagasy were there. The batucada group played its Afro-Brazilian rhythms surrounded by a crowd of German and Argentine supporters. After Germany’s victory the Fifa World Cup came to an end. However, this wonderful Madagascan/Brazilian musical and cultural interchange goes on until August 3rd.

Hier a eu lieu la finale de la Coupe du Monde de Football à Rio et la Bloco Malagasy était sur place. Le groupe de batucada a joué ses rythmes afro-brésiliens, entouré par une foule de supporters allemands et argentins. La Coupe du Monde 2014 a pris fin avec la victoire de l’Allemagne, mais l’expérience musicale et humaine au Brésil du groupe de femmes venues de Madagascar, elle, se poursuit jusqu’au 3 août prochain !
