Cultural exchanges and concerts, but also huge discovery for the young Malagasy women

On Flamengo beach, surrounded by the impressive green, mountainous landscape which include the famous Sugarloaf mountain, the Bloco Malagasy took some well deserved time to relax. Before leaving Rio, the group visited Corcovado's iconic 'Christ the Redeemer' statue and as per Madagascan custom, the girls sang to pass the time. In doing they captivated dozens of tourists with their stunning rendition of folk tunes such as the Ndebele song Shosholoza which is very popular in Southern Africa.

La Bloco Malagasy a pris un peu de temps pour se reposer à la plage Flamengo, entourée de paysages spectaculaires faits de montagnes verdoyantes incluant le célèbre Mont Pain de Sucre. À la fin de leur passage à Rio, le groupe a pris le train pour se rendre au Christ Rédempteur, en haut du mont Corcovado, où des dizaines de touristes ont été captivés par ces dix jeunes femmes Malagasy chantant Shosholoza, chanson traditionnelle et très populaire en Afrique du Sud.
